This gallery is located in the lovely village of Walkern, just a fi ve minute drive from Lupe’s studio. In the summer, once a month, the top floor will be taken over by Lupe Cunha’s workshop where artists or beginners will be working from a range of source materials according to their personal interests.
Lupe wants this well know venue to become an artist’s development haven for artists from all around Hertfordshire.

Lupe Cunha BA MA has developed her work exploring aspects of colour and light. But she has never lost her love of the landscape and now works
at Walkern Gallery on Thursdays developing the figurative work which later generates her more abstract paintings. As an experienced tutor she knows that exploring art is at the reach of anyone who wants to do it. It simply comes down to providing the right approach for each individual. This isn’t by teaching others what she does herself. She finds out what they would like to learn and then directs their studies so they are able to achieve this. The approach is individual for each.
